Zidane vs Materazzi

It's well struck, but always going wide from the England man...31' Carrick with a chance to hit straight back! But he drags his shot wide of the mark after the ref played an advantage to United!30' GOAL! Taylor pounces on a spill from van der Sar's spill to slide the ball home! 1-0 Pompey! It's Benjani's shot that the keeper finds too hot to handle and Taylor gets there ahead of Brown to slot home!29' Lauren centres for Pompey.... but Brown is there to head clear... and the visitors can break here with Ronaldo... but he's stopped in his tracks by a brusing challenge from Hughes...27' Play is just being broken up now by a series of late tackles... but the crowd are certainly enjoying it, and the atmosphere at Fratton Park is electric!24' Richardson gets on the end of a Ronaldo free kick into the Pompey box... good touch... but his shot is wayward and the ball flies into the stand behind James' goal...21' Carrick looks to play Rooney in on the left hand side... Mourinho baits Man Utd over title
Mourinho is relishing Man Utd's trip to Stamford BridgeChelsea boss Jose Mourinho has taunted Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson by claiming United are "lucky" not to be playing the Blues next week.Chelsea cut United's lead at the top of the Premiership to three points at the weekend after beating Tottenham, while United lost to Portsmouth.Mourinho said: "United are very lucky they don't have to play here next week. Can you imagine them here next weekend?"That's the game where they will slip up, against us, so they're very lucky."The Premiership champions face relegation-threatened West Ham on 18 April, while United's next game is at home to struggling Sheffield United. And the top two go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge in the penultimate game of the season in a match which may decide the destination of the title. Before this weekend's games Ferguson had bemoaned Tottenham getting just 36 hours recovery time from their Uefa Cup quarter-final in Seville. When you think other people are stupid it is not a good qualityJose Mourinho on Sir Alex FergusonBut Mourinho said: "I was not surprised Ferguson complained about our fixture because he is intelligent and maybe he thinks other people are stupid."But the truth is United are very, very lucky with the fixtures because, until now, they have always played before us."Mourinho added: "Ferguson is an intelligent man, a successful man with a great career."But when you think other people are stupid it is not a good quality."606: DEBATEFerguson though, believes Chelsea have the more difficult run-in and is confident the Blues will slip up in their remaining six fixtures. He said: "Chelsea have a lot of tough games coming up so someone will make them suffer. It is hard to believe they will go six games without that happening."We are still three points ahead and if I was given that option at the start of the season I would have taken it."

England dont lose baby
This story about england team manager Steve McClaren has announced he has no further injury problems to contend with ahead of Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Israel. Defender Micah Richards is set to shake off a calf injury, leaving McClaren without just Jonathan Woodgate, who did not travel with the squad.
Richards missed out on training at Wembley on Thursday, but McClaren confirmed the Manchester City right-back - in the squad as a replacement for the injured Gary Neville - will train with the squad for the first time on Friday.
"Micah should train with the team today - and as long as he comes through everyone will be fit," McClaren said.
But Woodgate will definitely miss out on the clash in Tel Aviv after succumbing to a knee injury. Middlesbough's on-loan centre back stayed in England to undergo treatment, although he could make a return in time for next week's game against Andorra.
"Unfortunately Jonathan has had to go back to club for his further treatment," McClaren said. "But it may be possible that on Sunday or Monday he may be able to come out to join us for Wednesday."
McClaren continued: "We've got 23 players - more than enough to cover every position. It's a team effort - it's up to everybody now. We've done a lot of talking and now have to deliver on the pitch. We've got eight games to qualify."
England head into the game under a certain amount of pressure after two terrible results against Macedonia and Croatia put a serious dent in their campaign to qualify for the tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
McClaren has not been helped by a number of injuries to first-team players, not least those to full-backs Ashley Cole and Gary Neville, but he insisted he still expects a good performance from his side.
"We're to win a game - but we have come here determined to put on a performance," he continued. "If we get that, we've got a good chance of winning. There's always pressure for England - every game is a big game.
"But I've certainly been looking forward to it since the Croatia defeat [in October]. These are the games where we need to deliver."
